About Martin Studios Fine Art
Layers of rich, earthy colors and diverse textures characterize my work. Both visual and tactile textures are inspiring to me, and
therefore very prominent in the art I create. I strive to add a sense of visual depth by using layers of handmade papers, metallic
foils, photographs, natural materials, and texture mediums.
In 1997, Denver based artist and picture framer
Bryan Martin glimpsed a market for original art using trendy palettes and unique mediums. He took an idea and put it on canvas. The
canvas hung on the wall of a design studio for a mere day before selling, and thus Martin Studios was founded.
After its inception,
Martin Studios found a niche in local design circles. Before long, the circles grew wider as Bryan formed liaisons with nation-wide
art representatives. He continues to expand Martin Studios by regularly attending several of the national art and design expos in
which he is represented, including the New York Art Expo, and the Atlanta Arts Expo.
Locally, Bryan is involved in several art
associations in Northern Colorado where he currently resides, and he regularly submits his art to shows and juried exhibitions.
Although
original art remains the primary focus for Martin Studios, Bryan is quickly becoming known for his stylish and innovative work through
reproductions. In 2002, Haddad’s Fine Arts first began publishing Bryan’s work. Now, Bryan’s art is carried across America in fine
retail outlets such as Target, Kohl’s, Z Gallery, Linens N Things, and Bed Bath and Beyond.
Bryan has been featured in an article
in
Décor magazine, where he was demarcated as one of a type of “artists that stand out for their distinct style and subject matter”,
and as having “’a good sense of what’s right for the market’".
